Office for Security and Counter Terrorism
Playing your part in protecting the public
The Home Office is the lead government department for immigration and passports, drugs policy, counter-terrorism and police.
Within our Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT), we work to bring cohesion and strength to the fight against terrorism. In addition, we support the Home Secretary and other government ministers in developing, directing and implementing the country's counter-terrorism strategy.
Protecting the public is at the heart of everything we do. Yet rather than high level strategy, it's a job that pivots on a variety of very practical day to day deliverables. Deliverables that could rest in your hands.
That's because, as a key member of our Personal Protective Security delivery team, you'll oversee the design, installation and maintenance of security measures at all kinds of buildings, be they public, private, large or small.
Doing this, you'll help people feel safe and confident to live freely, contribute to society and prosper in their daily lives.
As a modern and dynamic employer we look for high calibre individuals with a true sense of pride and professionalism. Join us and you'll become part of a complex and political environment where the ability to work at a pace with a high degree of passion is critical to effective delivery.
